Show Spoiler

The world is divided into four elemental nations: The Northern and Southern Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. The Avatar upholds the balance between the nations, but everything changed when the Fire Nation invaded. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, can stop them. But when the world needs him most, he vanishes. A hundred years later Katara and Sokka discover the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. Together they must help Aang master the elements and save the world.
Water… Earth… Fire… Air. Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. But then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Aang. And although his airbending skills are great, he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Aang can save the world.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Avatar: The Last Airbender, is one of the greatest shows aired by Nick - one of the best animated shows I have seen in a long time, and among the most original. It's beautifully animated, epic in scale, laugh-out-loud funny, genuinely moving, and surprisingly romantic at points.

The main plot is this - the world is separated into 4 nations based on the 4 elements; the Water Tribe, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. They distinguish themselves by their Benders, people born with the ability to manipulate one of the elements. However, there is one person who can control all 4 - the Avatar, a powerful being reincarnated again and again into the different nations, who is the bringer of peace. However, 100 years before the events of the show, the Avatar vanished when the world was on the brink of war, with the Fire Nation attempting to seize power. The show focuses on 12-year-old Aang, the Avatar and last of the Air Nomads, who was frozen in the ice for a century, and has been thawed out only to find the world in tatters. Now he must master the other 3 elements, defeat the Fire Nation, and restore peace once more.

The show is a serial - it continues the story rather than having a bunch of random episodes strung together in a season like so many other children's cartoons, which is wonderful. There are filler episodes, of course, but these are few and far between, and if they don't accelerate the plot, they do add little moments of character development that are useful as well.

It's also, as I have said, very funny - the primary "comic relief" is the character Sokka, but virtually every character, central or not, has their humorous moments. Despite that, the humour never distracts from what's going on, and never diminishes the dramatic and touching moments that also frequent the show. In fact, they enhance them, by giving the drama such a lighthearted contrast.

The show does have it's faults - some of the more overly-dramatic characters (*cough*Zuko*cough*) can get irritating at times, and there are moments where the newly discovered abilities of Aang and the other Benders seem a little too convenient, like they were thought up on the spot whenever the writers couldn't figure out how else to resolve the conflicts. But other than that (and I was really nitpicking there), there is virtually nothing wrong with it.

Overall, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a fantastic ride. I highly recommend either getting your hands on the Series DVD's, or watching the show online (try animefuel.com - just a warning, it's often busy and can't be accessed every now and again). I have never enjoyed a serial show - let alone one for kids - so much.
I'll admit it: I was skeptical at first. I remember the previews before the show aired. I was 17 or so at the time, Avatar just didn't look appealing to me. I didn't start watching until the reruns came on while the second season was almost over, but oh man, I had missed out!

The first season was entertaining; the action was, well, child-appropriate and the show had a refreshing sense of humor, but it did seem a little slow. The real savior of the first season is that the visuals are so beautiful!

The beauty remains, and the character arcs and plots are top-notch in the second season and well into the third. Prince Zuko is one of the most fascinating, complicated characters in all of television, forget all of Nick TV. The original three characters continue to face seemingly impossible challenges and deal with like -get this- human beings! Toph adds a wonderful dynamic and steals the show on many occasions. The finale (and the episodes leading to it) is devastating and beautiful.

The third season has been interrupted by the writer's strike and Nick being a jerk, but it's supposed to start up again soon, and I can't wait! If you haven't seen the show, I absolutely recommend watching it from the beginning, so be quick- get the DVDs and catch up!

The Legend of Korra debuted on Nickelodeon in USA on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) with back-to-back episodes, with regular timeslot on Saturadays at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT). The arrow tattoos are thought to have originated as a sign of respect for the original Airbenders, the Sky Bison. An Airbender earns his or her arrow tattoos by mastering all 36 tiers of Airbending, or by mastering 35 and creating a new Airbending technique. Aang earned his by inventing the technique he calls the "Air Scooter". Yes In the commentary of the DVD of the last episode of the series the creators stated that after he defeated the Fire Lord and his eyes flashed the avatar state for only second he had become a fully realized Avatar Fire Lord Ozai confirmed that he banished Zuko's mother and that she may still be alive, but it is unsure. In the series finale, Fire Lord Zuko questions his father on the whereabouts of his mother, but the series ends before it is confirmed that she was found. Zuko finding Ursa was actually storyboarded for the finale by Avatar Director Joaquim Dos Santos, but was nixed by Mike DiMartino - not really sure why but this implies that Ursa most likely is alive. In 'The Legend of Korra' the children of Tenzin asks their grandmother, Katara, to tell the story about Zuko's mother, although she was willing to tell the full story, she got interrupted before telling the story.

However, a comic titled 'The Search' was released by Nickelodeon in 3 parts in 2013. The events take place between the end of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' and 'The Legend of Korra'. We learn that Ursa, Zuko's mother, returned to her home village of Hira'a after being banished by Ozai. There she found the man whom she was engaged to, Ikem, before being taken away to become Ozai's wife. She then learns of a spirit named The Mother of All Faces, and searches for her to receive a new face, and the spirit also removes almost all memories of her past life. When Zuko learns who his mother is now and finds her, The Mother of All Faces returns Ursa's original face and memories.

It is really difficult to believe that something we never see or never feel is true. Avatar is a film having such information which is very difficult to believe. But a person watching this film will definitely believe that it is true http://howtofixmyprinter.com/printer-issues/how-to-fix-the-printer-driver-is-unavailable-error-on-windows-10/ .
